Yes, indeed, I have the honour of hosting the Saturday Surprise challenge once again this week and I've chosen the theme "Mother Nature". It is such a pleasure for me to use natural elements in my artwork....pressed flowers, leaves, mica chips and beeswax. I marvel at the intricate beauty of these materials and feel inspired by their natural beauty. As you can tell, I'm also attracted to poetry about nature like this wonderful "Song to a Tree". Stunning!! I can't even begin to imagine the work that has gone into your project but the end result makes it so much more than worthwhile.
I know I sound like a broken record - but once again - I love what you've created. You are seriously inspiring me to work with beeswax. I hope to participate in this challenge.
