Enough

I was recently at a Fred Eaglesmith concert at our renovated train station.   At one point in his dialogue, Fred told the audience that he was the "richest man alive, probably richer than anyone in the audience".    He could make this claim because he was someone who had "enough".   Enough.....a word that has personal meaning to me.    On one hand I struggle with being "good enough" all the time....talented enough, a good enough artist, friend, daughter, sister.   On the other hand, I feel just like Fred Eaglesmith in that I feel gratitude for having "enough".   I love this post from a blog called Brave Girls Club and think it relates so well.   Believe me, it's worth reading!

I've said it before and will say it again (cause I always need to hear it:) -- Happiness is highly over-rated. Contentment is what we should aim for. When we appreciate 'enough,' I think it's easier to be contented. GREAT post!

I'm a sucker for pink and springy colors. These pages grab my eyeballs! winkwink Love them. Because of my arthritises, I had to choose to be happy with the enough. I'm glad now but it was a tough journey getting here. xoxo

Yes " enough " is it. Love your comments. I am trying to learn to be satisfied in the moment. Okay, so this is serendipitous. the word verification is "blest" :))
