Celebrating Differences

I recently attended a full-day workshop on balancing multiple projects and time management.   As part of the course, we were asked to complete a personality test.   Who hasn't, in the course of their life, completed one of these?   Perhaps it was Myers-Briggs or True Colours.   Maybe you found out that you were an introvert or an extrovert, analytical or empathetic.     I find the results of these test comforting somehow.    They seem to explain why situations and relationships with others can be difficult at times.   They also emphasize what can be accomplished if everyone's skills and strengths are used together.

Just stumbled across a quotation on Facebook yesterday that really moved me.....

"If you knew who you really are, you would always treat yourself with respect.   You would be in awe of yourself."

Heather, glad to read your new posts. Love your bright pieces. I think I understand what you mean about the comfort. After being hit by my five arthritises in 2002, I had to change from being a perfectionist type a extrovert to a type b introvert. And I am so thankful for it. My test scores on those tests types have actually changed as well, so a different kind of comfort for me maybe, but an important journey marker. xoxo

These two are terrific. Love the colour and energy, the looseness and whimsy, and the "true selfness" of them. Nice to see a post from you again!
