Theme Thursday - 4" X 4"

A dear art friend of mine suffered a loss of a family member. Her art friends wanted to comfort her in some way so they decided to assemble a 4" X 4" book for her. We sent our pieces from United States and Canada and they were put together and sent to her. Just creating this piece for her was an emotional journey because I could only imagine the pain that my friend was experiencing. This is my entry for the Theme Thursday challenge this week.

Such a comforting piece and so sad when you understand why you made it - what a lovely gesture and one which hopefully will help her in her grief.
