There's a new challenge in blogland called The Three Muses and themes are revealed on Wednesdays. This is the second week and my first to participate in it. If you haven't already, check out the beautiful blog that these three talented artists have created. This week we are to make art using "doors". I wanted to capture the power of photographs to open the door to the past and to hold still moments of time in these two round robin journal pages.

I love both pieces, Heather, and I especially love your theme about photography capturing moments for posterity. How true! I love using the old vintage photos and giving those people another moment in time, don't you? Thanks for participating in our challenge!
Heather both of these journal pages are simply gorgeous, and I love the soft colours. What a magical theme.
They are beautiful Heather!
How creative , to link the past through photos, something many of us do but don't give any thought to it. Wonderful as always!
Beautiful work, Heather! I like how the woman appears to be leaning on the butterfly in the first one. ~Lori
