Theme Thursday Challenge - Flourish

"Flourish" is one of those words that just seems to illustrate in its sound its meaning. It is also a wonderful word to say. There is a sense of movement and drama in it, isn't there? That's what I was thinking when I created this winter-themed round robin page. I coloured the chipboard piece with the polished stone technique and outlined it in silver. I wanted it to look like the snow when it's picked up by the wind and made to dance. This is my entry for this week's Theme Thursday challenge.

Your winter piece is great. It's especially nice as the thunderstorms rage outside!

Winter works well for me here in the southern hemisphere (although our winters are very mild).
Elegant card, wonderful use of the flourish. Great work.

What a lovely piece! I really like the saying about being children again too. It gives me a little chill looking at this winter wonderland! I'll have to come back and look at it again in the middle of July! ~Lori

Beautiful wintry piece! Winter is a distant memory in Mississippi - it will be a very long time before we cool off.

Oh, this is a refreshing change on a sultry day here in Maryland. Lovely! (but that's not surprising, you do such pretty projects)
