Crazy Amigo Challenge - Transportation

I remember very vividly long car trips as a child. My parents loved to hop in the car and take us exploring. They love our province, Ontario, and are very adept at hunting down "hidden treasures" and back roads. My sister and I were not always the best travelling mates. We would fight and squabble in the back seat then be reprimanded and told to stay on our "own side" and not talk to one another. We'd remedy the situation by hanging our coats over our heads and passing notes via the sleeves. I'm sure my parents don't miss this part of travelling!! This is my entry for the Crazy Amigo Challenge this week.

This is fantastic! And so is your entry below. I just love your art heather:) I was an only child, so I never had to travel with anyone in the back seat. Now that I have two boys I finally know what everyone was talking about. They get so rowdy back there! LOL!!! Love, Jamie

Love your transportation piece, and the interesting bit of family lore that accompanies it! As always, lovely work, Heather.

By the way, have you checked out the new Wednesday blog challenge site - http://thethreemuseschallenge.blogspot.com/

Love the story! I remember fighting with brothers on vacations. One time my brother offered me a peanut in the shell...but he purposely didn't tell me that they weren't roasted! Have you ever tasted a RAW peanut??? NOT GOOD!!! Your card brought back a lot of memories! ~Lori

You are so prolific, it is hard for a slow person like me to stay caught up on you. But, then it is always such a delight to come visit and see so many delicious things all at once - kinda like the dessert tray in a restaurant or presents on a birthday!
Everything is so lovely it is hard to leave just one little comment (as you can see).

I loved the story you shared - it made me giggle about passing notes through the sleeves - so inventive and creative and cute even then!

Hi Heather,
I LOVE and am inspired by your work!
A question about Crazy Amigos challenges-- do you check every week to see what the challenge is or do they send it to you?
