I recently took a Joggles course with Sarah Whitmire on creating an altered journal. I was fascinated by the textured look on Sarah's samples and discovered that she creates it using heavy body acrylic white paint and stencils. She then uses layers of paint on top including a layer of interference colour. I wanted to capture the colours that remind ME of Spring....blues, pinks and yellows....to accompany the robin on the cover. To me, this bird is a sign of hope and rejuvenation. This is my entry for this week's
