Theme Thursday - Sun

I just finished these pages for a round robin journal project. This particular book had the theme of "Romantic Literature" which I thought was a fascinating one. I chose to spotlight two of my favourite American writers.....Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman. It seemed only natural that both would live on the pages in an outdoor setting so I used layers of acrylic paint to try to create backgrounds fitting of such esteemed talent. I love the bird stencil very much and have been using it quite frequently (as you've seen). It is from Retro Cafe Art Gallery. These are my entries for this week's Theme Thursday challenge.
