Mixed Media Monday - Show Us What You Love to Do

The theme for Mixed Media Monday this week is "Show Us What You Love to Do"....how exciting! This canvas combines so many things that I love to do. I love to take online courses and learn new techniques like the one I used for the background in this piece. The course was offered by The Altered Diva and is called "A Colorful Past". I really enjoy working with acrylic paint and I also love to use snippets of poetry and quotations in my artwork. I call this piece "Three Little Witches".

One of the nicest and I do mean "nicest" pieces of Halloween work I have seen so far this season. It's not your "typical" black & orange...it's better than seasonal ... it's timeless.

I love this piece. I love the three little witches (so much story telling there) and I love the colors.

Also, my 3 year old is all about halloween right now, so I think I'm starting to get in the mood.
