I'm always delighted when I get a chance to participate in the
Inspire me Thursday challenge. I love that the theme may be interpreted in any way...poetry, art, song. The theme this week is "yellow". I just happened to create these round robin pages for a journal with a "colours" theme. Yellow is not a colour that I use very often but I enjoyed working with it. Most of the images on the pages are from
The Altered Diva. She also offers fantastic online courses.

Love the line of Nature shouting in gold! These images are so fascinating! They look quite magical, almost like a glimpse of a fairyland!
Gorgeously artistic and so many different things to look at!! Can't take my eyes off them both.

I'm not a "yellow" person either and when I saw the prompt yesterday I thought "ooohhhhh..." and couldn't come up with an idea...but then I realized I have done things with yellow in the past...it's just not my "usual" colour.
I love the sheets from Altered Diva -- Karyn has a wonderful sense of "play" and this bird mother just cracks me up!!
Love them both!
These are so fun Heather and so much to look at. Love the egg with the leaf wings. Wonderful job, not sure if I will get to this theme or not.
...we used to have "the yellow room" it was the cheeriest happiest guest room...now it is the "big girl room" and "Tiffany" blue...some day I will have another yellow room...and stop rambling on
These are absolutely beautiful illustrations! I love eveything about them, the characters, colors, details - really wonderful work!!
This is great. I think it's interesting how many of us said we weren't normally attracted to yellow. When you think about it, it's such and omnipresent color. But I like what people have done.
These are both a lot of fun!
Wonderful collages! I love all the leaves you've used.
Love these too!! Great colours
Very nice work. Wonderful!
