This artist trading card started its life as a playing card. I read about a wonderful technique that I've described in other posts whereby you coat the card with layers of gesso, pages from the telephone book and gel medium. Bits of the phone book show through giving interest to the background. This is my entry for this week's Theme Thursday challenge.

Wow, now this is a technique I have just got to try, it looks gorgeous, and I love the image you used too, she looks so beautiful.
