Theme Thursday - Hearts

I started with a heart-shaped chipboard book and added a dash of scrapbook paper, vintage photographs, clippings from an old crochet pattern book, a little whimsy and a layer of beeswax and created a book for a friend of mine for her birthday. This is my submission for this week's Theme Thursday challenge.

Didnt think to use my chipboard hearts...but glad you did...the backing paper gives a real 'parlour' feel to them

what a beautiful keepsake... it looks so lovely. And I like the idea of using beeswax in the piece too. Do you add that for color or texture?
