A long time ago I learned to age a tag using instant coffee granules diluted with water. I often do a batch of tags of all shapes and sizes as well as paper doilies. I find that if I have a stash, I tend to use them quite often in vintage artwork. This is my submission with a, yes you guessed it, Titanic theme for this week's TGIF challenge.

Hi Heather...these tags are amazing!
I love that you explain techniques on your blog too...make me want to coffee stain something...
Wonderful work as always...
Cheers,
Diana
Super tags! I also use a very strong tea for the same purpose. In fact you can even paint with strong tea, like a watercolour.
These tags are just BEAUTIFUL!!!! So very talented!!!! ~Hugs~
Oh Heather wonderful tag. Stunning work again. Love it.
Thanks for playing TGiF.
More beautiful work and tips Heather, no end to your talents:)X
Very beautiful tags.
Nice work.
They look great, great shapes.
beautiful tag!!! so much to see!
Heather, this is such a stunning piece of art - thanks for joining us every week at TGiF.. ;o)
Heather, your work is always lovely. I have better luck with instant coffee than I do with tea stain. Do you ever plop a loose granule on the tag before it dries? It makes a nice rusty/burn spot.
Excellent tag art, Heather...very elegant!
lovely vintage collage. I usually just use distress inks, but I should try tea! I drink enough of it!
Off to find some instant coffee granules!! That's a great idea--I haven't tried that yet. I have tried tea, but I think the coffee would have more of an impact!
great details, very beautiful tag !
Wonderful!
Heather your work looks really wonderful, love the Titanic theme.

Beautiful, Heather, and what a great idea to stain a bunch so you have them ready.
