Saturday Surprise Challenge - Christmas in Unconventional Colours

I confess, I do not like shopping so Christmas has always presented a bit of a challenge for me. Just thinking about malls and large department stores at this time of year makes me itchy. When I arrive to find that there isn't a parking spot in sight and that I have to trail around after other shoppers laden with parcels in the hope that they are leaving, I want to turn around and go back home (and I have). Then I discovered online shopping. You can surf around at your leisure, in your p.j.s if you desire, click a few buttons and await the arrival of your treasure. Let's just say treasures have been arriving on my doorstep all week. This is my entry for the Saturday Surprise challenge this week.

Gorgeous, Heather! I love these colors together for Christmas--unconventional, maybe, but so vintage-feeling!

I love online shopping, too--so much more peaceful! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Fun colors for your Christmas piece! I hate crowds, too-they make me anxious but I have a hard time surfing the net to shop, I get distracted easily..lol. I did get one present I knew my son really wanted on Thanksgiving Day that was supposed to be on sale in the stores Friday morning so I was able to shop with no crowds and get it a day early, too :)

This is beautiful heather!! Love the colors and the vintage feel. I have to confess, I have done most of my shopping online for a few years now. And it helps to cut down on that impulse buying I seem to have trouble with!! Have a great day. Hugs,Betty

What's so unconventional about pink and green? (people in my house think that Christmas is supposed to be pink and green)(well, pink is just a tint of red, right?)Of course I love this (and always will :)
