Are you fascinated by ravens and crows? I know that I am. My domesticated birds always duck their heads from their safe havens inside our house whenever they see a crow fly overhead. They are large, raucous and often very noisy. These journal pages were created for a round robin exchange. I pillaged my stash and discovered that I had lots of raven/crow bits and pieces. A vintage bird book provided me with some information on the birds that I scattered here and there. This is my entry for the Theme Thursday challenge this week.

I love crows and ravens too! Have you heard the story of the crow funeral, said to have been observed more than once? It's said hundreds will noisily alight near the body of a departed one, fall asbsolutely silent for about a minute, then as if at a signal take wing and fly away, having paid their last respects. I like your entries, and thanks for triggering that memory for me!
These are wonderful, Heather! Very clever birds you have chosen, and very well represented. Cheers!
Fabulous pages, Heather!
Love these, Heather! I'm fascinated with all sorts of black birds. We have lots of crows here but ravens are pretty rare.
love your collage!
Wonderful pages, Heather! I, too, think that ravens and crows are very fascinating birds, intelligent and resourceful. These pages are great tributes to them!
