It's a terrible thing to be forced to include birds in artwork...NOT! I have to hold myself back from using them all the time in fact. It's likely because birds are so much a part of my life with three as family members and a host in the great outdoors that eat me out of house and home. I can't believe how much birdseed they manage to consume each and every day. My reward is watching the dynamics around the feeder. There is definitely a "pecking order" in the bird world. This is my entry for the Theme Thursday challenge this week.

Hi Heather,
How have you been? It's been a while since I visited you blog. I see you still make the most beautiful art work. Hope you are having a great time.
Your friend in Texas.

Great entry, Heather. I know what you mean about the feeder. Those big boy bluejays are the neighborhood bullies, and they manage to scoop out everything but what THEY like!
Very nice Heather! I'm with you, it is hard for me not to include birds!
I love your layering and your little guy.
i love watching the birds at the birdfeeder too. it's one of my favorite things to do on sunday morning with a cup of coffee. they are so busy gathering and eating seeds that it looks like a busy airport terminal. your atc is beautiful and love that pretty bird sitting on the little boy's arm!!
Oh Heather this is so sweet. I know what you are saying about including birds. They just add so much hope and joy to things.
Well it sounds like this was fun to make and right up your alley! And it shows! It's so pretty and sweet. Well done!
Wow, this is a very pretty atc, lots of sweet details and the bird is sooo pretty!!
