Created ByHand - Back to School Days

It's that time of year isn't it? Even if you aren't returning to school, I would bet that you likely have at least those vague feelings of apprehension and excitement. They really never seem to leave us. Don't you remember traipsing off on your first day wondering who your new teacher was going to be. You had on your carefully chosen outfit purchased just for the occasion and all of your pencils and notebooks were new and full of the promise of another year of learning. This is my entry for the Created ByHand challenge this week.

This is a beautiful piece, Heather, and a reminder of those exciting first days of school each year. Love the rich colors.

very nice. I like your layout and colors used.
I guess I'm too old, because I can't remember those days. What I remember is the summer ending.

This is great, and it captures that feeling of getting back into the swing of things; whether you're participating in the back to school things or not!

I do remember the excitement of all those new pencils and papers just waiting to be used and the new pair of saddleshoes to keep clean but that looked awesome the first week!
