Crazy Amigo Challenge - Sun, Sea and Beach

I always feels a tug of excitement when the beach is mentioned. I remember my parents announcing unexpectedly (because, of course, the weather had to be perfect) that we were heading to the lake. We'd happily gather towels, hats, sunglasses, books, blankets, sunscreen and music. The trip TO the lake would seem agonizingly long but once we arrived, I felt as though I was in heaven. The beautiful white sand would greet us even as we stepped out of the car and the sound of the surf beckoned us to the water. We'd stake out our spot on the beach and spend a lazy day dozing, swimming, reading and people watching. As the sun set in the sky, we would take one last stroll down the beach in the cooler air of evening then slowly walk to the car rubbing sand from our feet. Inevitably we'd carry some of that sand home with us as a reminder of a glorious day at the lake. This is my entry for the Crazy Amigo Challenge this week.

The beach is my all-time favorite vacation spot, and I adore your altered tin! I am still in awe the way you can create such a tiny masterpiece. A beach-in-a-box, brilliant. If only I could carry it with me and escape inside as needed!
