I don't know about you but I am less than convinced that it is Spring! I arose to walk with a friend of mine to be greeted by icy, snowy sidewalks and freezing temperatures. Let's just call this the "last blast" of wintry weather. I think this little girl epitomizes the freshness and feeling of renewal of Spring so I used her to create this 4" X 4" calendar page. This is my entry for this week's Created ByHand challenge.

What a sweet little face! I love these 'vintage' children images. If only they were all as cute in real life! Gorgeous background to this one too.
So true, so true... I've been feeling the same way about the lack of evidence available for Spring being here. It's only 34 degrees out there right now and I'm so tired of all the layers of clothing and hat hair and all that. I sure hope it starts warming up soon.
That is one LOVELY piece! Are those real pressed pansies in the background? They sure look like it. Thanks for coming by and visiting me at my blog and for your comment!
This is gorgeous. Beautiful work
This is gorgeous ! great background!!!
Very pretty!
SWEET! I love it! ~Stacey
So pretty!
Really sweet!!!
This one is precious!Love that image! It's definitely Spring in California...but then it's almost always Spring here! Have a great day!
Beautiful and lovely girl. Love the soft flower background.
I love the little look over the shoulder. Too cute. I'm afraid no Spring here. Sunday night the storms ripped thru here downing trees and giving us a beautiful light show but no tornadoes! It's 40' outside right now. BRRR.
She's a lovely homage to Spring
Lovely!
Love this page, it just shouts spring. Here in the UK has been very springlike for a couple of weeks now, but saying that it could all change tomorrow, roll on the summer.
Adorable and I love the flowers.
Super adorable and I love the cute lil' charm!!
Heather, this is really beautiful with the Easter egg colors. And I agree. Where is the warmth that is supposed to be with springtime.

How sweet! I love the expression on her face, it's priceless!
She's beautiful, Heather! Lynn F.
Beautiful Heather, love everything about this piece, definitly catches the essence of spring, pity the weather here in the U.K and with yourself doesn't understand the meaning lol:)
I hear ya'! It hasn't been very "springy" here either. I love the pouty little face on this girl - very sweet! Maybe your use of these lovely pastel colors will invite more spring-like weather! ~Lori
Ooooooo, this is wonderful! Thanks so much for taking the challenge!!
