The colours of Christmas....red, green, silver and gold. I created this altered microscope slide mailer to send to a friend of mine. The slides actually pull out to become ornaments. Yes, that is beeswax that you see on the piece! This is my entry for this week's Mixed Media Monday challenge.

Oh wow Heather this is gorgeous and you have given me an idea!! I bought a 4 slot mailer to make something for friend who is vintage Christmas mad (it takes best part of four weekends to put all her decorations up) - but then was completely stumped so did something else instead. I love the idea of the slides coming out to be ornaments, maybe I'll get a headstart on something for her for next year.
