A very moving piece Heather, it brought a wee tear to my eye. This is a special day for me, my father was born on 11 November 1920 and was called Victor in remembrance of Armistice and the First World, or Great, War and he served in the second World War. My brother and hos son both have Victor in their names to pass the memory on. He passed away 25 years years ago now when I was still a teenager so today is my day to remember him as well as the fallen and the survivors.
It's also the anniversary of my Granma's birthday, so a very special day for me too, I love your card Heather, it's beautiful. I have poppies on one of my blogs for today - just to show I am proud to remember, so glad you are too.
