Saturday's Workout - Beeswax

I love the way that beeswax warms up a piece and gives it a pleasant glow. I stamped this lovely image, coloured it with chalks, assembled the card then gave it a coating of beewax. This is my entry for this week's Saturday's Workout challenge.

Hi Heather,

I have just had a lovely time playig carch up with your lovely work you have posted in the last few days.
I have never used bees wax for finishing off a piece of art but think I really must have a go.
now then 8yrs ago when i was in Canada I bought about 10 sheets of honey comb bees wax (a little larger than A4)mostly natural and some in pink, blue, lilac, reddish colours too.... is this the same stuff?
I still have loads of it left in a box somewhere in my daughters attic.I bought it for making candles...which i never did...lol... just had to have it at the time.
think i must look up a tutorial on waxing...and not of the facial kind...i know how to do that one lol.
have a lovely sunday.
