I am a fanatic about proper spelling and grammar. It drives my fellow coworkers and my boss crazy sometimes but they still punish themselves by having me edit their reports. I often look at the spelling used in texting and emailing and wonder if perhaps I need to calm down a bit......not likely though!LOL This is my entry for this week's Created ByHand challenge.

A lovely piece of work Heather...and I'm with you on the subject of spelling!
(I'm also driven crazy by apostrophes in plurals!!...I need to get a life I think!)

Amazing ATC Heather, lovely image and great use of the color tones.
Wonderful vintage card, Heather...great image!
Ha! I feel your pain! :-) This is wonderful - love the school theme.
gorgeous atc
Heather, I love it. It's gorgeous. And I agree about the spelling. I do notice misspelled words or the incorrect use of one homonym for another. However, I goofed up my HTML when I placed my entry in this challenge, so I really can't be too critical. Also, I think we do need to cut a lot of slack for those whose first language is not our own. I find that I try to double check spelling in my comments, so as not to confuse the Europeans.
Lovely work Heather, Im the worst speller on the planet, and typo queen extraudinaire.
Yes I've noticed that you are one of the few bloggers that use the apostrophe in hallowe'en! I approve very much. This is a great piece. (Quickly checks comment for grammatical and spelling errors, lol.)
Haha, I can really relate to that, it drives me crazy too. Spelling is getting worse and worse all the time.
Love your art work.
Hi Heather...very nice ...I love the colours used and the embellishments are just perfect!!!
Have a wonderful night....

Oh Heather, what a wonderful vintage feeling image you have created. :)
I am a fanatic about it too! Drives me nuts sometimes to read what people write! :)
Oh yes, I'm with you on the spelling, and Linda with apostrophes. I notice a lot of Americans say your instead of you're. I find it hard to abbreviate when writing texts too.
But I digress, I came to say that your card is lovely!!
