Oh what a delight to show off colour combinations that we love. Actually it's a little difficult to decide which combination to showcase. Don't you find you use colour according to your mood? I also had a friend tell me that I ran in cycles of colours and I do. I gravitate towards natural colours and jewel tones but occasionally break free and experiment with brights and soft tones like those in this round robin page. I tried to mimic the shoreline with the torn vellum and the capture the feeling of serenity that I feel when I visit the lake or ocean. This is my entry for this this week's Arty Girlz Challenge.

You have very definitely captured "serene"...and yes, I believe that colour is chosen by "mood". We may have our particular favourites but I believe in experimenting and going with the mood. Being "boxed in" and known by the colour we use most often is too restricting...viva la difference!!!
OMG this is truly delightful.

I definitely am moved by color and really just inspired by it in general. I tend to go for the brighter colors myself--but it really depends on my mood. I love the soft serene look you've created in this peice :) Lovely as usual!
