Gothic Arch Challenge - Haute Couture

I have always found myself drawn to this beautiful image of a woman bedecked in her finest gown. Every time I look at it I study all of the detailing on that gorgeous dress and wonder how long it took for her to bind herself into all of the undergarments. Did she require assistance? Imagine what a relief it must have been to be released from all of that clothing in the evenings. This is my entry for this week's gothic arch challenge with the theme of "Haute Couture".

Heather, she's beautiful...as is that dress. A nightmare perhaps to get into but a dream once she was in it -- no doubt!

The beautiful Lina Cavalieri is the zenith of haute couture. I wonder how she sang trussed up like that. You've caught it all wonderfully well in your beautiful arch, Heather!

Heather, you are the Queen of Detail! I so love your arches for this very reason! I'm still trying to figure out if your tiny stars are stamped. What a perfect image for this theme and a gorgeous arch.

Heather this is awesome... I love that gorgeous dress too. I used to always imagine myself as a lady when I was younger, dressed up in those kind of dresses... think we miss out nowadays. Mind you don't think I would have enjoyed getting in and out of them...lol

Beautiful and ever thoughtful Heather. I too Love that image, surely they must have sighed huge sighs of relief at the end of the day. I would also imagine they could not eat all that much cinched in that way. Another beautiful creation!! oxo
