Craftaway-a-Sunday Challenge - Butterflies

Every once in a while I dig out watercolour paper, food colouring, plastic wrap, salt and a tub of water and I create backgrounds. I enjoy having them on hand to use. This is one of them. I could just picture this lovely lady (with the amazing posture) sitting outside on a bench allowing nature to do its business around her while she watches. This is my entry for this week's Craftaway-a-Sunday challenge.

Wow - This is so fabulous. i threw away a whole batch of food colouring last week because it was passed its useable date but I am sure it would have been fine for artwork. I will know better next time! Great artwork- again!

Gorgeous!! I do the same as you...every once in a while making a batch of watercolor backgrounds. I don't know the saran method? but just dip my watercolor paper in a bath of a little water and watercolors swirled in. Out in the sun they go to dry...and then I pick which ones I'm in love with...=) and they are ready to play with.
