Layers of Color Challenge - Books

I guess you could say that this is a "book about books". I have collected quotations from books that I've read for as long as I can remember. You know those passages that just stop you in your tracks. You have to pause and reread them to digest their beauty. They may make you laugh or cry or they just might be a description that is so beautiful that you gasp. I wanted to take some of those passages and make art to go with them. This board book was being sold at one of our used book sales and I snatched it up. What attracted me to it was the size and the fact that it had tabs down the right hand side. I added subjects to the tabs which corresponded to the passages that I used. This is my entry for the Layers of Color Challenge this week.
