Gothic Arches - Favourite Movie

No one will be very surprised that one of my favourite movies is "Titanic". It was most thrilling to me to see the magnificent vessel recreated so beautifully and accurately by director James Cameron. He wove into the movie so many of the famous people who were on the ship when it sank and it was interesting to see them come to life on the screen. The movie captured in as much as it could the terror and horror of the sinking of the Titanic, the difficult decisions that had to be made and the aftermath of the unspeakable tragedy. This is my entry for this week's Gothic Arch challenge.

I think the bottom left corner of this arch has the most impact. And would you believe..I have never seen that film. It's one period of history that saddens me incredibly and for some reason, no matter how well done the film, I just could never bring myself to watch it.

Wonderful arch, full of nostalgia and reminiscence. I will refrain however from launching into song you will be relieved no doubt to hear.

I was going to do the Titanic as well, but I was knee deep in a shadow box and never did find the extra time. I have neglected my blog for a few days, ok, maybe a week...so I had to run over here and see you.
Great minds think alike, hey friend?

Heather, I love this arch! I should since I'm the lucky person who now owns it. You did a great job relating the story in your arch.

I love all the vintage aspects of your arch Heather. It is nicely composed and you couldn't work in a better theme than the Titanic to an arch. Last summer my husband, daughter and I visited the traveling Titanic exhibit at the museum in Victoria, B.C. - absolutely amazing. The story is one that will linger with us forever, I think.

Oh, a woman after my own heart! I, too, loved how beautifully and accurately James Cameron created the Titanic! I love that movie, but, even now, it is difficult to watch to see the ship fall apart again after it was so awful the first time! Great arch!
