It is definitely a day of wings in the blog challenge world. The Created ByHand challenge is to make art using "dragonflies" and the Crazy Amigo Challenge is to create a piece using "butterflies" so I decided to combine the two in these atcs. When I was at the cottage in August, a dragonfly landed on my chest and just sat there in stillness for about 30 seconds. I was able to study his beautifully irridescent wings and the amazingly intricate design of his body. for about 30 seconds and I was able to marvel at the beautiful irridescent colours in his wings and the intricate shape of his body.

You've chosen beautiful colours for your "wings" work. I love the story of the dragonfly landing on you!! I had a similar experience this summer...within a very short period of time both a butterfly and then a dragonfly landed on the table where I had my feet propped up while reading in the garden. They sat for at least a minute each and allowed me to appreciate their beauty. Sometimes the gifts we receive are small and unexpected and they have the biggest impact!
