Gothic Arches - Handwriting

I always shy away from using my handwriting or printing on my artwork....and probably for good reason. I don't think that it is particularly beautiful or artistic looking and when I do my hand shakes as I write. However, I would very much like to art journal so I'm going to have to conquer this "block". I am participating in a fairy gothic arch swap and found some wonderful quotations about fairies so I tried my hand at transcribing them by hand. These are my entries for this week's Gothic Arches challenge.

I'm so happy for you that you conquered this 'block' Our own handwriting adds so much to our work.
I really like how you followed the lines of the images on the arch. Great work. Thanks for joining GAC this week.

Heather, they are both so gorgeous. And do use your own handwriting more often. It's great.

Heather, your cards are beautiful, anyway I give more thought to how the writing fits in with the rest of the art/design, or about what it has to say, not so much on the penmanship. Sometimes, I will purposely write illegibly for the right effect. Besides, our handwriting is us, that makes it honest, and that is always beautiful.

hello! great blog, and love those fairy arches. I found you through tooties blog. Your handwriting is lovely, I know the feeling though that, if I'm considering using handwriting on something, Im afraid I'll ruin it! we probably worry too much!
anyways, I'll be sure to visit agai and hope you'll stop by to visit my blog sometime! by the way, I live just across lake ontario from you! well, actually across from toronto and Im only an hour from the falls!
have a sweet night!

These are gorgeous. I know how you feel about being timid to write on my artwork. Yesterday I pulled out a beautiful calligraphy set, the pen is hand blown glass, and well I haven't used it much for the same reason as you mention here. I ended up using the calligraphy pen on a different project but did get my arch finished this morning. Your work is beautiful.
