Created by Hand Challenge - Alter Something

I have been participating in a fabulous seasonal altered tin swap in blogland. It is hosted by a Marilyn from Unshelved Words. Each month we alter a tin then send it to a designated partner. My wonderful partner for "Summer" was Sherry from Esprit d'Art. Her exchange tin is on her blog and it is gorgeous! I decided to use this little "mermaid" and create an underwater scene. I added colour to the tin with alcohol inks to begin giving it a watery look. This is my Created by Hand Challenge piece this week.

You are so clever! Love the little house too. Houses are quite popular in crafting over here in the UK at the moment - along with birds and paisley!

This is a WOW piece of art, Heather. I tried to alter a tin too, but mine is not as fancy. Love the detail in yours.
