I just discovered another wonderful challenge blog....they just keep popping up to keep us inspired and, of course, challenged! This one is called Arty Girlz Challenge Blog The challenge this week is to use "paint" in your artwork and it is being sponsored by a wonderful new online company called Layers of Color. The very talented owner, Laura, is offering a stamp set as a giveaway. Check out her Layers of Color challenge site too! I was honoured to win one of her marvelous stamp sets recently.
The task this week was to use "Paint" in your artwork. This is a page that I designed for an alphabetica round robin journal swap. We were to create pages of Queens using assigned letters of the alphabet. One of mine was "J". I used a copy of a cabinet card photo and named my queen Juliet....Juliet who loves to shop for her home and to decorate. Can't you just picture her leafing through the pages of a catalogue choosing furniture for her home?
