4" X 4" Friday - Numbers

I remember a teacher I had in about Grade 2 banging her ruler against the desk while we recited our times tables. Whack, whack, whack....that rhythmical sound that rings in my head even today....2 times 2 is 4, 3 times 3 is 9. This is a very vivid reminder of my early beginnings with numbers...the theme of 4" X 4" Friday this week.

Lovely piece! Great vintage colors/themes! At least the teacher was whacking the desks and not the students!
