"The Stars of Midnight" Canvas

This is indeed a milestone for me....my first canvas. I have been taking an online course with Paulette Insall for the past five weeks called "Organic Dimensions" and have been learning so much about layering acrylic paints in various ways to create backgrounds. This little piece is a culmination of all of those lessons and I call it "The Stars of Midnight".

OOOHHHHH, Can you hear me way up in Canada? This is incredible Heather. You are so talented, I didn't know they had such a thing...I need to get out more! Online courses...huh? Well, this is a beauty! Be proud of yourself...Gorgeous. Thanks for stopping by my blog, to funny about your bird chewing papers...I had an Umbrella Cockatoo for years, she now lives on a small farm with my wonderful sister in law in Ms. (I still see her lots) Oh would she chew! Like wood trim, doors, walls. Hence why she is now living away, lol. But my Lab decided to come see me earlier (telling on himself), I knew something was in his mouth...when I dug it out, I was horrified to see a bookmark I had just made...getting ready to list on Etsy! I guess they were not getting enough of my attention. So he is on my list today!!!
Thanks for sharing your canvas with us...

It's lovely, it has such a soft "other worldness" look to it. Quite a nice blending of elements and I love the background!
