I added touches of gold to these December 4" X 4" calendar pages so they are my submissions for Mixed Media Monday this week. The theme is "Gold".

This is actually a photograph of my Dad when he was young and snow was plenty. Since he is wearing interesting headwear, I thought this ATC would be perfect for this week's Think Monday Think ATC challenge.

Card and Christmas Ornament with Favourite PaperWhimsy Image

The bottom photo shows a card that I created as a Stamp and Scrap Canada design team member. You can tell that this is one of my favourite PaperWhimsy images....I also used it for a Christmas ornament for an online mingle. The ornament was photographed at the cottage in August!

I really like this collage image of four childhood friends. It must be summer....one of them is actually in bare feet! This is my submission for the Gothic Arch challenge this week with the theme of "Friends".

I recently signed up for a Mini Art Quilt Fabric Book class taught by Lenna Andrews on Joggles. I have long admired the work of fabric artists. On the weekend I had a chance to play. Here is one of my pages. I hope to make several and create a book with them.

Ah, faces....the theme for this week's 4" X 4" Friday. This lovely lady is peering through late Autumn leaves that I've pressed using my Microfleur.

There was something about the faces of these two birds that just led me to believe that they were not pleased with something. I envisioned that they had made a nest, laid their eggs and an annoying little fairy boy appeared. They wished he'd fly away because they had everything under control. The piece is for Fluffy Fatbottom's Twisted Tuesday's Challenge with the theme "When Fairies Go Bad".
