"Ocean Jewels" Round Robin Journal Pages

The theme for Else's gorgeous round robin book is "Ocean Jewels". I struggled a bit with this theme. I was leafing through an old issue of "Somerset Studio' called 'Remembering the Titanic' and was moved by the art. I decided to create my own piece.

"Autumn Beauty" ATC

I love the warm glow of Autumn. The lady image is from Artchix and I have used real leaves that I dried in my Microfleur. Everything is layer in...you guessed it....beeswax.

"From Sea to Shining Sea" ATCs

These are two more artist trading cards that were sent to Belgium. The stamps used are from "The Old Island Stamp Company" on Salt Sp;ring Island, British Columbia. I think they capture the diversity of landscape in Canada.

Library Pocket Book

I was intrigued by this book as soon as I saw it. It has library pockets and cards with a spiral binding. I used beeswax collage for the cards, gorgeous feminine scrapbook paper to decorate the pockets and the cover and attached some inspirational quotations about women.

"Oh Canada" Artist Trading Cards

I was asked by 3 artists in Belgium to be part of an artist trading card exposition in early September. I created cards this weekend that represented what Canada means to me and am popping them in the mail today.

"Sisters" ATC

These photo collage stamps from Inkadinkadoo really intrigue me. I actually cut away the background from these two sisters. The ATC was made for Stamp and Scrap Canada so full instructions are on the website.

White on White Fatbook Page

A dear friend of mine is hosting a "White on White" fatbook swap and invited me to join. Now what was I going to create with shades of white? This actually turned out to be an enjoyable challenge. I had this photo of the three girls in my stash and they just seemed to be the perfect starting point. Perhaps they are off to a summer garden party or a wedding? I wanted the look to be delicate and summery.
